Classroom Happenings
Hi everyone,
I hope everyone is well rested after those two snow days. I also hope you are ready to make up the work that we missed, including tests! Be ready on Monday for science, spelling, and reading. We'll review the story for the week before the reading test since we hadn't finished all our work for it last Wednesday.
Get those Look, Listen, and Learn forms back that were due by last Friday so we will have an accurate count of how many people will be joining us that night. It is this Thursday, March 4th. Lots of good information for parents and our keynote speaker from the Attorney General's office.
Now that we will be back at school, I'm sure it will be another busy week, especially with catching up. See you on Monday.
As we head into March, our lion to lamb month (hopefully), our upcoming events are the Look, Listen, Learn night on Thursday, March 4th, the annual Talent Show, which I hope we get some 2nd grade acts, and the Bishop Grimes Academic Games in April. Keep in mind that there are events for the Grimes Games that can just be entered without having to go to the event. We have many talented students in our school, and especially second grade, of course, who would be great in the categories. There is something for just about everyone, math, science, singing, drawing/painting and things like that. Information was sent home on Wednesday.
Until next time...
Miss Lindsley
