                  MARCH NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents,

     Welcome back, I hope everyone had a great weekend. Hopefully SPRING  is right around the corner.

LANGUAGE ARTS -  this month we will be learning the letters and beginning sounds of N, O, P, Q and R.

MARCH SHOW AND TELLS -

MARCH 1 - the letter N.

MARCH 9 - the letter O.

March 15 - the letter P.

March 22 - the letter Q.

March 29 - the letter P.

SCIENCE CENTER -  during the month of March we will be learning about nutrition and how to keep our Hearts healthy. We will also be talking about the words Floating and Sinking.

MATH CENTER - for the month of March we will be working on our patterns and sequencing. We will also be making our Monkey Flash Cards.

RELIGION - during the month of March and April we will be talking about Easter. I will be presenting Easter to the little ones as a joyful celebration of life. We will be talking about the beauty of God's world in the Springtime and how Jesus loves us and shares all this beauty with us.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU - for the months of March, April, May and June  - every Wednesday morning for a half hour, our Pre-K class will be joining Miss Whelen's Pre-K class.

    We will get together for playtime and some fun Hands On Science activities. 

DATES TO REMEMBER - 

SNOW PLAY DAYS - every Friday we will be going outside to play in the snow. Please send boots, snowpants and mittens with your little one on these days. Thanks so much.

MARCH 2 - Dr. Seuss's Birthday - we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday today by reading different Dr. Seuss books  during the day, making Dr. Seuss hats and making our own Dr. Seuss Rhyming Book.

MARCH 17 - We will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day by wearing GREEN and WHITE  and going on a Leprechaun hunt.

MARCH 19 - NO SCHOOL - TEACHER INSERVICE DAY.
